I have a long practice in meditation and mindfulness and I first began my meditation training as a psychology student in the mid 1980s. I practice insight based meditations and I have received training from Prof. Mark Williams from the University of Oxford, one of the founders of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. I have also received training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy from Ms Liana Taylor, Clinical Psychologist and Director of the Meditation Centre in South Australia.

I have previously worked in government, non-government and educational institutions. My clinical interests are in depression, trauma, and anxiety disorders such as Panic and Social phobia. For a number of years I worked in the Health Department of Western Australia providing clinical services to individuals who had attempted suicide or who regularly self harmed. I have also worked in Drug and Alcohol services, Child Protection and Public Health. I have always maintained a keen interest in personal and professional development and I have trained in behavioural, cognitive behavioural, interpersonal and narrative based therapies. In recent years I have been incorporating mindfulness based therapies such as mindfulness based cognitive therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to my work. Please visit the contact page if you wish to contact me.
